Madness Of Sorrow – Official Biography

Formed in 2011 between Milan and Turin from the mastermind Murihell, Madness Of Sorrow deliver a powerful, high-impact Horror Metal that blends industrial aggression, groove, and gothic atmospheres, drawing inspiration from the likes of Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and Ministry.

Their discography boasts 5 full-length albums (from their 2011 debut Signs to 2018's Confessions from the Graveyard), followed by the EP 666:THE DISCIPLE (2022), leading up to late 2025 with the release of the concept EP The Silent Sovereign—a work centered around the terrifying rise of the Antichrist to global power, seamlessly blending demonic possession and political dystopia.

Live on stage, the band delivers a dark and frenetic show that perfectly mirrors its grim sonic universe. Every year, the band plays 4 to 6 shows in Italy, but recently Madness of Sorrow has also played in Ulm, Bellinzona, and Tournai (Belgium).
